Overall
Owner since: 2 years
Price: ca. 900 eu
User profile: Semipro
Cons: Small part of lens-hood can easily be lost (which happened in my case). Sharpness not on the same level as the Tamron 70-200mm 2.8.
Pros: Superb build quality. Reliable, silent and quit fast autofocus. Outstanding colors and contrast. Relatively compact.
Summary: Very nice lens to work with, both for sports and landscape photography, with or wihout tripod. The lens fits in a slingshot bag, mounted on the Pentax K5. For the high price, the sharpness should be more crisp.
